Meet Our Team

As President and Managing Director, with over 40 years of experience in the North American horse racing industry, Joel provides strong leadership at ONTrack.  He represents the 3rd generation in the family owned and operated American Teletimer Corp. and brings a wealth of knowledge in photo finish, timing and CCTV to our Canadian company.

With many years of horse industry experience, Lana has been serving as ONTrack’s Chief Executive since 2010.  Her areas of influence and corporate responsibility include financial and risk management, human resources and payroll, business planning and corporate culture.

Randy’s career spans over 26 years in televised live horse racing, 17 of which was spent successfully managing Western Canadian operations. Since 2018, Randy has been serving as ONTrack’s Executive Vice President and is responsible for the company’s Canadian operations.  

Gerald has been in the Television Broadcast industry for over 35 years working in production, Technical support and sales since Graduating from a Film and TV production program course. He has worked at Ontrack Media for 11 years and worked alongside Mendelson Film and Telephoto Technologies since the Mid 80s.

Bill started with ONTrack’s predecessor, Mendelson Films at Hastings Park Racetrack in 1993 and has worked camera, VTR, simulcasting and Technical Director positions at various tracks in BC and Alberta since then until taking over the position as Operations Manager for Western Canada in 2018.

Mitch began his horse racing broadcast career as a simulcast operator at Assiniboia Downs in 2008. He has a wide range of experience in the broadcast space having worked with the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets, CFL’s Blue Bombers and Dodgeball on Twitch livestreams. He currently manages the development, deployment and technical support of some of the company’s central proprietary products and services.

Johnny started with ONTrack’s predecessor, Telephoto Technologies, in 2004. He has worked in many facets of the company’s growth throughout the years, including marketing, broadcast studio installations, on air graphic design, advertising network operations and the management of the operations of several race track broadcasts. He has recently assumed a role in the sales department.

Greg has spent most of his time with the organization since 1990. Primarily starting as the systems manager for Contempo Timer. He has been involved in the deployment and installation of timing and digital photo finish systems throughout Canadian Race Tracks. He manages the company’s IT infrastructure, streaming services, network computer systems and the photo finish department.

Minh started his tenure with the company working at Mohawk Racetrack as a supervisor, working alongside Government officials for regulatory purposes. Minh has been taking care of Racetrack operations and is involved in the installation and maintenance of our timing systems.

Kevin joined the organization in 2021 and has spearheaded the programming and development of our key proprietary systems and products. He has a bachelor in computer science and is a senior engineer. He is prolific in many programming languages and system design.

Adam has been involved in the video production of live horse racing since 2011. He has experience in all broadcast operation positions from live camera to photo finish to producing graphics. As of 2022, Adam is the Broadcast Director at Assiniboia Downs.
